Oysters has no accounts and no passwords. You already have an identity on the AT Protocol network, and your submissions, comments and upvotes are records in your own repository — this board only indexes them.

What happens next

  1. Your handle resolves to a DID, and the DID to the server hosting your repository.
  2. You are sent to that server to approve access. Oysters never sees your password, and the approval happens somewhere it does not control.
  3. It returns a token bound to a key held only by this server, so a stolen token is not enough to use on its own.

You can withdraw access from your own server at any time, and signing out here discards the token immediately.
